Terms of Service

Effective date: 12 July 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Employment Rights Act Tracker at employmentrightscheck.co.uk and your purchase of the report we provide. By using this site or buying a report, you agree to these Terms.

1. What you are buying

We sell a one-time report priced at £19. The report is a dated, personalised summary of the Employment Rights Act 2025 rollout, filtered to the headcount band and contract types you give us, telling you which measures apply, on what date, and the actions to consider before each one.

2. The report is general information, not legal advice

The report is provided for general informational purposes only. It is a dated summary of published legislation and the government implementation roadmap, not a professional service, and not legal advice. It does not create any solicitor-client or other professional relationship, and it is not a substitute for advice from a qualified adviser reviewing your specific staff, contracts and circumstances. You are solely responsible for any decision you make, and you should consult a qualified adviser before changing contracts, policies or dismissal processes.

3. Dates can change; some measures are indicative

The Employment Rights Act 2025 phases in over 2026 and 2027, and several measures are indicative: their precise dates and detail depend on further regulations and consultation. We mark confirmed and indicative items separately and stamp the report with the date it was generated. Commencement dates can slip and indicative detail can move; the report reflects the position as at its generation date and should be re-checked against the primary sources before you act on a time-sensitive date.

4. No warranty

The report and this site are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of satisfactory quality, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement, to the extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the report is accurate, complete, current, or fit for any particular purpose. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any right you have under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or other applicable law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

5. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Employment Rights Act Tracker, its operators, and its suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the site or the report, including any regulatory action, tribunal claim, or dispute concerning your employment practices. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or related to the report or these Terms will not exceed the amount you paid for the report. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for any liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

6. Refunds

Because the report is a digital product delivered immediately, refunds are provided for delivery failure, for example if you paid but did not receive your report, or the report could not be generated. If your report failed to arrive or cannot be produced, email hello@employmentrightscheck.co.uk and we will re-deliver it or refund your purchase.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to: resell, republish, or redistribute the report as your own product; scrape, bulk-download, or systematically extract content from the site; attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorised access to the site or its infrastructure; or use the site or report for any unlawful purpose. The report is licensed to you for your own personal or internal business use.

8. Intellectual property

The site, its design, its text, and the report format are owned by the Employment Rights Act Tracker and protected by intellectual-property laws. The legislation and government guidance referenced in the report belong to their respective sources. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the report you purchase for your own purposes.

9. Third-party services

Payments are processed by Stripe under Stripe's terms. Analytics are provided by Fathom Analytics. We are not responsible for the practices of third-party services, though we choose them with your privacy in mind (see our Privacy Policy).

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and you agree that the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or related to them.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date above. Your continued use of the site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
